So I received a large order from SWF yesterday. Got the nudibranch in the reef package and this morning I saw him at one end of the 135 gallon tank. About two hours later, he was at the other end sitting on the mouth of my rock anemone. He had sticky stuff on him and I had to remove him manually. He seems to still be alive, but not looking very good or moving around.
Weird how the anemone didn't eat him. It appeared that he tried and then spit him back out. I read that the nudi's absorb and store toxins from other species to use against their prey, although they are non-poisonous themselves.
