This is my imitation nano!

I got the tank to day, and I new light for it.
250W 14k MH Aquamaxx. This light is amazing in color!! I can not wait to see everything in this tank, as of now I have my new saltwater mixing and and I got another bag of sand. I can see my clownfish swimming looking at their new home!
Let me tell you it has been snowing all day. moving a tank in the snow is no fun!
I need to clean the wood off and clean out the sump.
As of now where I keep my tank in my computer room is a mess :( but hopefully by this Thursday I can have it up and running!


My cats are getting a nice big screen Tv LOL

Coral Keeper- mmm about double of my old tank... lol that's why its my "imitation nano"

ugh 3 hours later the deed is done!!! my largest BTA is completely open the other two are not. its still pretty cloudy so its not worth taking pics. I am not really happy with the aqua scape but that can be done another day after everything settles in.

so everything cleared up. I moved some rocks and am happy with what came out. The left side of the tank is a little dark so I am thinking down the road I am going to add some t-5's for more color and light. its REALLY blue. ( the new light has not broken in ) I need to add a bigger power head to the main tank for more water movement and that's about it.
One thing I have learned is NEVER throw away or give away your old equipment. I had a old skimmer I used for my 55 gal tank that I am using now. I did find a sweet lighting system that had 2x150 MH with 2 t-5's for the size of this tank but they wanted 700.00+ !!

very nice set up!! it looks awesome.... do you have one false perc and one maroon? also i like all that frogspawn in the middle very cool

Rotarymagic - I know! lol over time I will slowly add some more I don't want to chance a spike by adding a lot.
mboswell1982 - Yes i am going to add two or 3 more I was thinking of Banggai Cardinals and a sand shifter.
patrick8929- I have two maroon and a false perc he was in my smaller tank but I couldn't just toss him so into I find a new home he will stay with the other pair. during the day he is not allowed in any nems but at night all 3 of them sleep together in the same nem.
as the FS I have to much and have no idea what to do with it, so it just sits there getting bigger lol.
subielover - hehe thanks, I do want to add more rock to each side and make them higher. I do think it would look cool if I just had a big ball of FS in the middle of the tank

thanks everyone! I just changed out my light I didn't like the blue so much, so I got a 20k "XM MH" is very nice.

Oh is no problem haha.. I knew you weren't being rude. I understand your concerns because your tank is already stocked and if the seller of the rock were to be a liar and it wasn't completely cured, it could definitely stir some trouble in the tank if added in a large quantity at once. I would think that 20,000k would be bluer...
