LFS Jacks Up Prices

One of my LFSs has jacked up their prices. I asked what was going on and an employee said that they were losing money on the saltwater stuff due to sickness and death. I can't remember the last time they cleaned their tanks and they look bad. It seems that by not taking care of their tanks, they are quickly losing stock. Now it seems that they aren't going to fix their tanks but rather jack up their prices and hope to sell enough inventory to cover any losses. This sucks because it used to be one of my favorite places to get some unique coral. I can't buy from them now because that would support their new policy and their prices will never come back down.

It would seem that they need a management 101.
I hope this never happens but the LFS I use, the guy really cares. He seems to be very passionate about the hobby, uhhh lifestyle as anyone here.

sounds to me like they just said the key words that means no more stuff from them. Too many losses to disease...
There was this LFS literally 5 minutes from my house. And they had top end prices, but their tanks were HORRIBLE. Literally spiderwebs on their dry goods. Needless to say they went out of business.

Well this store seems to still be doing a lot of business so I guess a lot of folks are still buying from them. I'm just not one of them. The store does come out with 25% off coupons sometimes but that still doesn't the prices down enough. Plus the coupon doesn't work on live goods anyway.
