Have any of you guys experienced things happening with customers contrary to "literature" on a regular basis? I have several customers who must try things that I consider retarded, but I listen and let them try via special orders and such because I think that trying silly things is sometimes useful. Just thought I'd share some long shot success stories that astound me:
1. A lady was set up with stuff from another store in my area
coughaquaticsandexoticscough and was told that in her 36inch 60 gallon aquarioum that was up for 3 days whe would be fine to add a 4 inch yellow tang, 3 inch hippo tang and 5 inch blue cheek trigger. Besides agression from fish her tank hasnt crashed and its been like 10 days!! suprised me
2. A family has a 90 gallon with roughly a million damsels/basslets/small fish. Prolly closer to 40 or 50 than a million, but her water tests perfectly weekly and its the best tank ive ever seen i think. PLUS she has like 4 hardy corals thriving. Even more tricky, shes had a goniopora in it for 7 months without any recession, in fact its looking brighter and fuller.
3. We have only had 2 customers of about 20 or so lose anemones since they got them. 4 of these have been going strong for over 9 months!!
I just thought that these were pretty neat and wonder if you guys have any other anomoles out there?
