LFS water.....good or bad?

I live in athens ga, and the LFS here SUX! Their selection of corals is almost nonexistant, except for a few shrooms and star polyps. They claim their water is good, what are yall's opinions on fish store water? Should I test it, have them test it, what should i look for? I was wondering if this would help my tank cycle a little nicer.

It depends, I would have them check it for NO3, PO4 and SiO2. And find out if it's RO or RO/DI. If everything is OK, use it. But check it regularly sometimes these places don't change their filter media as often as they should.

I would never add LFS water to my tank. I would never add anyone elses water to my tank. The reason is simple. You don't know if they have ever treated anything in the tank with copper. Not only that but the small amount of water you would get from them would not really help your tank. Be PATIENT.
