life expectance?

Is there a site somewhere that tells how long fish and inverts live? (in captivity of course).
I'm just wondering...I get upset when a fish dies and there appears to be no reason...If i knew how long my clowns will live then thier death will be eaiser.

some people think anemones can live forever...they live over 100 years in the wild...usually a few weeks to a year in an aquarium. Fish range from a year or two to many many years.

Depends on who you talk to. Things are fairly short lived in the aquarium compared to the ocean. I doubt anyone will ever correctly answer your question. (weeks to years. hows that?)

I have had an anemone for 4 years and it has just gotten bigger It is an Atlantic Condy so it is pretty tough.
