Lighing for bulb anemone?

I was just curious about something. I was thinking that a bulb anemone would make an excellent addition to my 30 gallon tank, but the lighting isn't efficient. Since I am getting new lighting anyway, this is perfect. So, basically before I considered the anemone, I was thinking t-5s with individual reflectors. Is that sufficient? If not, what kind of lighting should I get?

Yes, T5ho are more than sufficient. A good fixture with 4-6 individually reflected bulbs would work fine.
Stick to ATI, Geisemann, and UVL bulbs.

Good, that's a load off my mind, I kinda dreaded the idea of getting metal halides. Thanks for the help.

I have two questions.
1. can t5 be placed under a canopy? What about PC?
2. what makes 4*24 watt better than 2*65 watt PC? The PC have a higher output, right?

Just to throw an idea out there, but right now I have a 1*65 watt pc, what if I added a 2*65 watt pc to that one, would that do any good?

Yes T5 can be placed in a canopy. IMO if you do have a canopy then a retrofit is probably the best option.
T5ho produce more light per watt than PC, and they are extremely efficient. Honestly I can't give you much of a better answer than that. The technical side is a little beyond me.
People have kept BTAs under PC, but usually have not had as much long-term success as people who use T5ho or halides.
Hope that helps.
