Hey Gang,
I have a 110 gal show tank and i have 2 metal halide and 2 vho blue actinic. I would like to know the light configuration setup that give the best lighting. The tank is upset in a corner. The walls are behind and the left of the tank (looking toward the tank)
1. Should put the vho blue actinic infront or rear or seperate one front and one rear
2. Should i put the MH between the vho light or behind?
3. Should i setup my MH so they face each other or away.
Your response and personal perference will be greatly appreciated...

I would put the flo's across the back with the MH's in the center(front to back) about two and a half feet apart.

Mr. Salty,
let me get it clear. I need to visualized it. The VHO flourscents will be mounted on the back and the MH should face the same direction right? (toward the right side of the tank) I also have read something in the past on this BB stating that VHO blue actinic should be mounted in front of the MH..... Please response....
Thanks
David

I have my blues at the rear.MH's in the center, and daylight flo's towards the front. Your MH could be facing towards each other,or away from eachother. But I wouldn't point them the same way.STEVE
