Light Diffusion

Hi all,
I have a JBJ formosa hood for my pc lights, the lights rest on a glass top over my water. My question is, since I have the lights already over glass could I take out the slide plexiglass cover that came with the hood.. I have had this hood for some time and very happy with it, but was just thinking of ways to improve the total light getting into the tank.. any thoughts?

Yes you can remove the sliding plexi sheet.
I did that same thing when I ran my tank with glass tops.
