Light emergency...Help

HI..I have a 55gl reef tank..and my light broke yesterday.....I called all the stores in my are and nobody has it in stock....but I manage to find it at the online store ..they told me that I would get it on Tuesday...do you think my corals and fishies would survive without a light for that long?

what kind of light do you have and what do you have for corals ?

I only have 40 watt fluroscent.............till i;m going to get my reef light....do you think that my soft corals...like xenia..would survive under that light till tuesday?

could you post a link? I would like to know where you are getting the lights from...I am looking to buy new ones also

my special reef light is broken...and for now till the replacement I only have 40 watt light

I have a lot of soft corals, clown fish and flame angel,fire shrimp,cleaning crew and a lot of LR

the fish and the lr and clean up crew should be fine.. i think your corals will be ok also but thats just my opinion.. i wouldnt want to go any longer than tuesday.. do you know what your special reef light was ?
