I just ordered a retro light for a 48" tank. It has two 250 watt halide bulbs and two 140 watt vho bulbs. I'm going to install it under a 10" high canopy , what kind of fans do i need?, where dcan i get them, i've looked on-line but all the fans seem to have plugs to plug into some kind of wiring harness, i just want to plug the into the wall. also how many cfm do i need?

Just to clear it up... You dont blow the air on the lights them selves, this will ruin them quicker. Air should be blowing on or at the water surface.. This creates evaporation and is basicly what cools the water. If you go on that famous action site and look for IceCap cooling fans you might be able to find something. I just purchased 4, 4" temp. controlled IceCap fans.. Around $40 a peice but I think its worth it. They came with the wall adapter so you might be able to find some. You probably will want 2 or so...But not sure about the cfm. Good luck!

You can get some pretty nice fans from that site for around $20 for 2 that is without shipping though.
