Sorry if this has been covered but I am a total choad and CANNOT get or figure out the d@mn "search" function on this new board!!!

Anyway.... does anyone know if the 250 watt double-ended bulbs(or any of them for that matter) fit into the 500watt halogen worklight fixtures, like the kind you buy at Home Depot for like ten bucks. I am sure I heard someone say this before... um, I think. Could a been a dream or between the glow from the monitor along with the actinic's on the tank next to me I have grown a tumor.... Does anyone smell sulphur?
