okay guys and gals, I am hoping to pick your brains again. I just purchased a PC light fixture for my 10 gallon that came with a 40 watt SmartPaq 10,000k Daylight/460nm Actinic. Is this lamp a good choice for coral and some fish later on down the road? Thanks for your help.

It's a power compact light, right? If so, it is good for soft corals like mushrooms and zoanthids, leather corals, and LPS corals if kept up high. No sps or clams.

That light should be plenty if your just going to stay w/some simple soft corals. The closer you can get them to light the better.
