Light for lionfish ??

I read that you should use subdued lighting for lionfish, so was wondering if I could use some blue plexiglass under a NO flo. or use a red light ? Any suggestions.

Lighting is unimportant w/ lionfish as they only need enough light to see their food. Whatever color you want and whatever intentisty (althou too bright will send them into cover).
If its too dark then this might be problematic. Essentially lions are dawn dusk hunters, so you can figur eout how much light is available.
