Light for live rock

What type of lights do you need for live rock

Standard lighting will keep your live rock alive and healthy but for it to really thrive you'd need to upgrade to PC, VHO or MH

Yea...you definetly need to upgrade to Metal Hallides, Power compacts or VHO's....but I presume you have a 10gallon tank so you can go with the power compacts since there cheaper...

I wouldn't upgrade the lights unless you have a plan to keep nuisance algae down... as well as keeping the tank cool. The live rock will be fine under normal flourescent light but just won't get all the coraline growth.
