Light for Saltwater Tank

At the present time I have a Perfecto Fluorescent Single Strip 36" Light hood over glass on my 55 gal salt water tank. I do not have live rock at this time but plan on putting some into my tank.
What kind of light do I need to support live rock? Can I put Coralife Saltwater lamps into this hood that will work?
Any ideas, what works best without buying a bigger hood assembly?

any light will work for just live rock. if you want any corals at all you will need to upgrade your lighting.
you may be able to get away with mushrooms with that light, but i cant say for sure.
