I have a 100 gallon tank with 2 Actinic White Bulbs 60" (white) and two Super Actinic Bullbs 60" (black). All lights come on at 12 noon and the white go off at 10:00pm (10 hours) and the black lights go of at midnight (12 hours). Is this correct?:notsure:

I wrote what was on the invoice from my lps. I understand that the white lights are sun light and the black ones are moon light.

Your timing seems to be correct, but are you talking about Normal Output flourescents? (Thats regular "shoplight style" tubes)
Also what are you keeping?
NO Florescents won't be strong enough for most corals.

My lights are 58 inch VHO-1. Currently I have alot of rock (20% live), two inches of sand (33% live), one fish and one feather duster. I had more but experienced a heat problem and killed alot. My temp has now been a constant 82% for about three weeks and I am ready to reinvest in it. I'v only been at this for about 90 days, any suggestions? :)

My tank is in our living room and I can make everybody (kids) happy with two clowns (nemo & marlin) and a tang but it will be yellow because I understand they are easier. I read that clowns like carpet anemone. What kind should I get? Green? Should I introduce the fish and anemone together or separately? Which one first? :notsure:

I don't think ocellaris or percula clowns regularly host carpet anemones. Don't think you have enough lighting for a carpet either. They need MH. You can try a bubble-tip anemone or a rose bubble-tip. A lot of clowns will host those, inclluding Nemo, they don't crawl around as much as carpets, and they don't require as much lighting. Doesn't really matter which order you introduce them in.

Is MH a type of light or a measurement of the amount of light? Also, I looked at the bubble tips and I like them, Thanks.
