Light question

After reading here and there...do I need to keep my lights off during the cycling period? And my powerhead...on or off? No fish...just LR and sand.

Keep your lights off there is no need to have them on but def. run all your powerheads, skimmer and filtration

IMO, you can run lights, might as well get the algea blooms over sooner than later and they could help photosythetic life bloom from rocks too, maybe....

You want lights on if your rock is live... you don't need to keep them on for a long amount of time... but some light would be preferable.

Definitely run powerheads and skimmer if you are curing live rock.
I'd run the lights too.
