Light question...

Hello all,
I am in the process of setting up a 55g tank and I would like to upgrade my lighting. Should I be looking for 2 24" lights (to eliminate any shadow caused by the center brace) or will one 48 " fixture be enough?

If it were me I would just get the one fixture at 48' The you only need to maintain the one fixture.

The center brace shouldn't create any kind of shadow. The long tubes and reflectors spread light out quite a bit.

the light will be fine, however if you go with moon lights make shure those are not over the brace as it will make for a shadow effect.
