I am about to put in a 24''x12'' 15 gallon refugium. What size light should I get? I am looking at a 24'' 65w PC light or maybe a 48w T-5 set-up. This refugium is going to be on a bookcase next to my DT so I want the light to look decent. I think I will be growing chaeto in the fuge. My nitrates and parameters are all fine, just need a place to maintain a stable pod population so I can get a mandarin down the road.
