Hey Gang,
Its me again. I want to get the max out of my flourscent tubes (2 coralife actinic blue and two cheap home depot (changing to 20K soon)) As far as the background of light. Should use some kind of light reflective material? One of my friend used metal sheet, but i am affair it will rust. Is it ok to use mirror to reflect light into the tank? if no, why not? any opinion???

I got a couple of those cheap door mirrors that are plexiglass and cut them to line the entire inside of my hood. It's been there for a couple months and no sign of salt damage. It cut real easy with a jigsaw and skrewed it with stainless screws.Used silicone at all the seams to keep water from getting behind it. Works and looks very profesional.STEVE

I stopped by home base earlier and found something call Handy-Man Wrap. It comes in 8 to 20" x 10 to 25'. Its very shinny and its made of aluminum. Handy-man wrap is mainly use in roofing.
