light set up for a 55 gallon tank

OK I'm just starting out in this hobby and this is my first post, I have a 55 gallon tank, and about 25-30 ponds of live rock. It's been set up for about two weeks. I've been looking on the BB and and everyone has different opinions on what type of lighting to use.
My tank will mostly be fish, only a little live rock probably up to 40 lbs and I'm using crushed coral. SO I need to know what type of light set up to use. Please help

NO or VHO flouresent will be enough since you don't want any corals. If you want to be able to change you mind go with at least 2 tubes of VHO then you could keep a couple of low light corals.
