Light timmer on NO florescents?

Can you put a light timmer on NO florescents, since they have the clicker to start them?

you can, you need to jump across the bulb with an appropriately rated starter, there are diagrams on this site how to do it, i could try to explain it to you but if you search you should be able to find a picture, it really is pretty easy and the starters only cost about a buck at a hardware
