Light uPgrade

Ok I think I'm going to uPgrade my lighting for a reef and my tank is a 55 gallon "tub" 36" long 12" wide and 18"deep so I was thinking about this

does it look like a good deal if I got 3 50-50s and 3 regulars?

For about the same price, you could get a metal halide retrokit, its the BEST lighting option, and youll be able to keep anything freely.

Or also for a similar price you could get a VHO retro kit as well.

could I keep softies under 2 96 watt bulbs?

And what MH would u go with? Dual 175s? What acentics would I use with that?

What would i need for softies and LPS or just a brain coral, there is an awesome one at my LFS and maybe an anenome later?

Like I said, metal halide is the best, youll get the best coloration, growth, etc.
Yeah dual 175's would be perfect..for your supplementation, you could use actinic VHO's, PC's or t5's..it all preference for that.

So I would keep my old light system and add an acentic and use dual 175s?
