light upgrade

I want to upgrade to MH but no one makes mh hoods in size 36 inch. Currently I have pc so if I were to upgrade is vho the next best system?

If more light is what you want. VHO does not put out more light then PC. They do make 36in MH hoods. Icecap and Custom Sea Life make them.

Is it really worth it though in the long run and if I do do the change does anyone want my pc hoods and bulbs.

can't you diy ? just add a reflector and bulb.Cheaper with the same results

The retrofit kits, Are they just the lights ballast cord and feflector or do they also come with the hood or cover thing over them?

retro kits are reflector,bulb,plugs ballast depending on the kit. But they aren't the custon lighting hoods that cost @ $600+
