having little knowledge about lighting i have a question for you guys and hope i can get a quick answer without sounding dumb. A friend of mine has offered up his two 48" AQUALIGHT T-5 Double Strip Fixture's the specs are 28 watt 10,000K daylight and 28 watt true actinic 03 blue T-5 fluorescent lamps. my question is are these two light fixtures enough for some basic beginner corals? I took them because they were free but i dont want to use them if its not gonna be good enough for my first run with coarals and BTA's. thanks for all help offered

If you are using a 55gallon, thats roughly two watts per gallon...Maybe mushrooms, and things needing pretty low light
