I have a 96 watt power quad retro on my 10g as well as a 18w moonlight. the moon light are way to strong for the tank so they are only on till about 7:00 - 11:00. hope that helps.

i just bought the moonlite hood for my ten gallon nano:silly: . let m tell you one thing, this light rocks. 80 watts of PC(2X40 watt PC, 1 10,000k and 1 ultra atinic, and 1 moon lite). it comes with a built in fan, doesnt get hot because of the material its made out of, and it more than enough igh for pretty much any coral you want. you are supposed to ahve 4-5 watts per gallon, with this baby, you will be packin 8 watts per gallon! e-mail me or IM me for a website where you can get one at a great price. vibe15@aol.com
