Lighting and Chiller Questions

Hello Everyone.
I have made up my mind to get Metal Halides. I want to do a full reef in my 75 gallon eventually (when I can afford it) I plan on getting all the equipment before I get corals. (Mostly to prove to myself that I have patience not to buy every pretty little polyp that comes in.) I would like to know what everyone thinks I need as far as lighting goes. I want more white light than blue. Would two 175 watt 5500s be enough? Im not interested in having really hard corals like acropora or anything (yet)
My next question is, when I get the MHs, will I need a chiller? the temperature in the summer here rarely gets above 80. My tank is in the basement and the room temp doesnt get above 75-80 even if its scorching outside. This may be a stupid question, but with MH I'll still need a heater in the tank for when the lights are off right? Or will it not cool enough? Im still new at this...
Please help me decide what to get. Your opinions are really appreciated.

I'm not a lighting expert, but you may want to add in some additional lighting just so you have some diversity with light spectrum in your tank. Perhaps VHO's. Some use the MH+PC combo, but I don't really like the light color of PC's, but they are cheaper and easier to install.
In addition to the lights, you may need to add fans to help cool the tank. Does not sound to me like you will need a chiller, but, yes, you will need a heater.
