on my 125 gal I have always had cheap flo lights thats what the set up came w/ when I bought it used/ $ 250.00 for tank 40 gal wet/dry.. ugf (which I dont use anymore)2 4ft flo lights.. cc (which I changed to 6 in dsb)iron stand and lots of base rock.( which I dont use I have 150 lbs lr) my ? is recently I took my 110 watt pc by GE off my 30 gal and put on the 125 to try to grow more alge on rock, there wasnt much on there, I think because the lights were dim..now that side of the tank w/ the new light has covered my rock w/ brown..it looks like its "burning the lr" water levels are fine,but the nitrate is at 40 - 80 it was higher w/ the ugf and I am still trying to bring it down..what is the brown.. good / bad..in the tank is 4in panther grouper 3 in flame hawk 6 in snowflake and 5 in coral cat.. any ideas thanx
