Lighting confusion???

I have heard that 1*65 watt pc lighting can't support squat and I have heard that it can support soft corals. I am new to corals, so if I get a 1*65 watt for my 30 gallon tank, what can I support? If I get a 2*65 for my tank, what can I support? Thank you.

I would say a 65w would support some lower light soft corals like some zoas, mushrooms, kenya trees. There may be others these are just the ones that I have experience with under low light.

Just be aware that some zoas like alot of light and a single 65w bulb may not be enough 2 would be better. The single may not cause them to die but they will probably lose their color.
