Lighting controls

Soooo, I was thinking(dangerous),but if I could snag a spare arduino board from here at work it would be an awesome control for my DIY led build when I move up to the 300 gallon I'm looking at.Actually Im thinking it could control much more

It could if you're in to that stuff. Only thing that I dont like about arduino is that they wont dim a lot of the newer drivers to zero (dark).
There were some guys that were trying to work around this but I haven't followed up with it lately to see if any progress has been made.

It could be a good project as Corey mentioned if your into that type of thing.....Actually Corey I think they did find a driver that would dim down to 0 on those......

Yeah, I glanced over there one day and seen the thread. Hadn't read it yet, sounds like another New meanwell driver.
I know the issues that I had with my LPF's were not that they wouldn't dim dark, it's that the 5v pwm signal that arduino's put out needs to be amplified and or converted to analog in order for the driver to actually respond to the full 10v signal. The Typhon, design amplified the 5v pwm signal by a factor of 2 to get a 10v signal. But something about the fact that the circuit wasn't grounded my meanwell drivers wouldn't recognize it as true 10v only 5v (max). So some guys opted for analog instead.
But then again, things are always on the change.
