for a tank that size you may want to look into the 96watt SmartLite retrofit kit. they run about $125.00.
just a suggestion

Im with Nos on that one.
Only thing I might do myself a lil different is position the lights a little above the top of the aquarium. 96 watts over a ten gallon could really cook your water. Dunno what your house temp is like, but I live in California, and in the water, if I didnt raise my lights a bit, my tank would easily breach 90F

THE 96W LIGHTS ARE WAY TOO BIG FOR A 10G TANK. TRY A COUPLE OF THE 32W RETROS. I USE TWO OF THEM ON MY 16G REEF, GREAT LIGHTS!

My LFS has (2) 36watt 7100K bulbs over their 10 gallon tank and it look amazing. I would go to xxxxxxx and look into the 36watt kits.
And for less than $100 you could grow anything you want in there with 70 watts of light.
I believe you have been warned about posting competitor links on this BB.

Yes Lord thats why I said make it on a stand or something that gives room between the lights and the tank..
My roomate has way more than that over his tank and lifted it off the tank..
His rose anenomes and corals are splitting like mad in there and thriving.
So its not hurting anything to have a lot... just as long as you arent cooking your water, hehehe

I just got a 32W smartlight retrofit kit for my 7gal bowfront yesterday. Many nano-reefs run these lights. It was around $52 including shipping.
