My tank is a 75 gal with 90 pnds of LR and 125 pnds LS. I currently have 1 yellow tang and a Coral Beauty dwarf angle. My buddy told me that he has ran his 3 FO tanks over the past 15 years with the typical 40 watt full spectrum 48" bulb(phillips) for aquiriums. What is everyone's feeling on this? I want to make sure I have the proper lighting in there as I would also like to add the following:
Bubble tip anemone
Pink tip haitian
2 Percula clowns

For just fish the 40w will be fine. For an anemone you will need metal halide lighting for it to thrive. This is very expensive and they are very hot. You should probably do some more research befor buying an anemone.
