what are you planning to do with the tank? fish only, corals, etc. This will determine the type of light you need.

fish only till i get used to a sw tank then i will upgrade to a bigger tank

if its FO you can get one of the stock fluro strip lighting that is 15 watts I believe, but if you plan on doing corals down the road, you might want to save the money and go with a better light. Sorry I can not make an exact recommendations on which light as I also have a 10 gallon and am trying to upgrade from the stock lighting to a setup that will allow me to keep most corals myself. I heard that a 65w or 96w would allow this but am a little confused. If anyone has any used lighting for sale, help some newbies out or make some suggestions on what type of lighting to look for.
