lighting for a 110 tank

Hey guys
I am full of questions. I am in the planning stages of my 110 gal tank and trying to get pricing ideas. Anyways I was wondering, I was looking at lighting and I was thinking about getting 2 retrofit kits from aquaticlight.com w/2 250 watt 12,000 K metal halide bulbs. Is this overkill? and if I got this would I need to add say a VHO system? I would like to eventually make this a reef tank and possibly add an anemone. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Sean,
Between 3 and 5 Watt per gallon is the "norm" for a reef. So, your two 250's would be on the high end but okay. I wish I had MH! They are really nice.
