Ok, I got a fish only tank. Have had 2 - 4' flourescent bulbs for years. I am thinking of upgrading to something better. Anyone have any suggestions? I am not a lighting expert. I have a wood hood that does not have a top, if that makes sense. Basically it is a 4 inch high box that trims out the top.
The top of the aquarium is 66" x 19". Height is roughly 22".
I have the option of hanging lights for a modern look or just staying the same, This is a picture of the aquarium before I put the top 4 inch trim on it, <a href="http://members.roadfly.com/ballzeeone/aquarium.JPG" target="_blank">Aquarium</a>, do not be fooled by the lighting, the aquarium id not really lit up that well.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
