What type of lighting would be ok for a Ricordea? I have Half 10k daylight Half 7100K Actinic Blue. I would love to have one but want to make sure I have the lighting requirements before i indulge myself

How many watts are the lights and what is the size of your aquarium? You will need 3-5 watts per gallon for ricordeas. They have moderate lighting needs. Good choice. They are really cool. I don't have any of those yet, but have been looking for sure...

Perfect. That means that you have 4 watts per gallon. 48total watts / 12gallons = 4 watts per gallon. You are good.

Ryan, while I agree that the standard lighting on the 12 gallon nano cube is sufficient for most corallimorphs, I would caution on the validity of the watts per gallon usage. Please have a read here for a better understanding of lighting needs in a marine tank.
