Lighting for Aggressive

I have a 220 g tank. It's still cycling right now but I plan on keeping it fish only. The tank is 72" Wide and 36 " Deep. My question is right now I just have 2-48" NO flourescent lights and seems pretty bright. I was thinking of going 2- 60" VHO lights. What do you think? Would I notice a difference. I can't imagine the tank any brighter than it already is. Thanks

u dont need good light for a fish only, but if u do want it then go for it because it will bring out the brightness of ur inhabitants

how much did you pay for your tank ? i'm thinking of going to a 300 gal next yr.

I paid $1400 for the acrylic tank, stand, canopy, wet/dry, lights, and cannister filter. I bought it off e-bay. I never gave any thought to buying a tank this deep, it's alot of work getting in there. I would rather have a traditional 240.
