Lighting for anenome

I'd like to know what kind of lighting an anenome requires. Right now I have 1 20 watt floresent bulb and 1 20 watt blue. My tank is 37 gallons. I asked at my LFS and they said that what I have is ok, but I've read that they need more light than that. Any answers/comments apreciated!

I had the same thing. He lived until he met MR power head inlet. Live and learn. It will survive, but not thrive.

Depends on the species. Some do fine under vho/pc but some will require halides= ritters to be happy even with feedings. If you use vho /pc you can suppliment with feedings. Some condi can do with less but IMO I would want more lighting and only buy a captive prop anemone
