Lighting for Bubble Tip

I have a 35g tank (36x12x18) with 2x39w of T5 lighting.
I am just wondering how much T5 lighting i should have on there to put in a bubble tip anemone? Will this be enough or do i need more?

I'm not an expert in the lighting field, but, I'm pretty sure that that's not enough to be capable of supporting the lighting requirements of an anemone.
From what I've read, most people recommend metal halide lighting. I'm not sure if T-5 can work or not.
I had a BTA under 260 watts of PC in a 75 gal. and it shriveled, bleached, and died within 6 weeks. I felt awful and now I'm in the market for some MH's.
