Lighting for zoanthids

i know that zoanthids do not require much light but I was wondering if anyone knew if it would be ok if I had zoanthids just inches away from the top of my tank which will have 2 30 watt NO lights....Will they grow? Ideally I would like to put some kind of rack at the top of my tank and try to farm some zoanthids and trade them for different species and hopefully be able to upgrade to some reed lighting...would this idea work in the meantime?

They may survive, but expect them to grow very slowly under that lighting. You should look for a bargain on PC's.

if I were to have 2 30 watt NO bulbs over say 6 gallons of shallow water do you think that would be ok for farming zoanthids? Basically I am looking at a layout like a 20 gallon tank but only having it a couple inches deep. Any thoughts? I did a search on coral farming but unfortunately did not find much and am also checking out google. Any advice would be appreciated.

if you do a search and check out some other sites that prop. zoo's u can see their setup. One in particular in mind. They use MH, which would give u quick growth esp if you want to be making a zoo farm. Good luck with that :)
