what lighting should i have for a new 55gal, bow front, 50# live rock,cc, cycling for one week tank/ no fish.... also tho eheim filters, water is clear, ssalinity 1.023
lighting help, please!

Your lighting will depend on what you intend to keep in your tank. A fish only with live rock FOWLR can get by with just a couple 20W or a 40W. If you want a reef tank with some low light loving corals then you'd need more light. If you want a reef with corals which require strong light then you'd need substantial lighting.
Since you're new, take some time and research the type of tank you want to have and what inhabitants. Once you've reached that decision then post the question again and folks will be happy to give some advice.
