you replace your stock Normal Output lighting with another lighting system that just sits on top of the tank.
what kind of tank are you planning on having?
if it's fish only then your NO lighting will work fine
if you are going for a reef tank then there is no way you should use NO lighting for it.
no bulb can give you proper wattage that fits on a stock lighted lid

thanks i was thinking mostly fish
but maybe some zoos but i heard there hard to maintain because light issues (why im here)
i love mushrooms
, maybe some feather dusters  , i absolutly need a brain
, and a clam lika maxima
but for now its all fish because
A)i am still getting my water levels in shape
B)no lighting
C)i might move within a year and dont want to give away anything

ok i did a another search with better results i figure my 25 gal is 36 in x 12 in x 16 in with a 25 inch NO bulb
so i figure a simple bulb changer might do the job on some of the hardier corals but depending on what the future holds in store ill change that
if my plan is a no go correct me please but i think it should be ok

okay first off clams like maximas prefer Metal Halide lighting and will not do well in brand new systems with NO lighting
second
the lighting is probably one of, if not the most, important part of your reef(which it sounds like you are planning on a reef) this is one thing you shouldn't skimp on
lastly any NO bulb will not work for any of those corals you have mentioned (besides the feather duster) the max output in a NO no matter the size or what it says is 20 wattts i think
how long has your tank been cycling?
do you have LR? base rock? coral skeleton??
what equip do you have?
what kind of substrate are you using?
do you plan on having a sump/fuge?
oh and make sure you ask Questions before purchasing yellow tangs or hippo tangs... or lionfhish and sharks
you wouldn't want to have to make another trip to the LFS

wow thats a big light
yea that will be great.
the anemone should not be put in a system that is less than 6 months old min. with perfect water quality readings

crashedin0- please take your tang out of the 25 and trade him/her in for a better fish for your 25 gal
the yellow tang needs much more room to swim, even that young. He/She will eventually become stressed and die
