ok so i think that these are the lights i want.
1. 36" coralife aqualight pc 2x96w 2 lunar lights
or
2. 36" current usa satellite pc 2x96w 1 lunar light
so both seem decent but not sure if 192w is good for most corals. is anybody using these fixtures? any better lights i should be lookin at? brand? watts? what do you think? thanks in advance for any help/advice.

how big of a tank? if its around a 30, 192 watts is OK for most corals, if you want to get into LPS and clams though you should look at a fixture with a MH bulb

go with more watts per gallon. I have a 46g and got 192w lights and after a few years i want more watts per gallon. Look into the Current Orbit line that has 4 96w lights...

i use them on mine if you get the fixture that i showed you the mh lights actually have a glass cover on them, but i still use the glass tops so nothing jumps.
