i just switched from a 55g to a 46g bowfront. My lighting set up is two 48 inch 110watt PCs. The hood is 12 inches to long for the new tank. My question is, can i dismantal my current 48 inch hoods and make my on 36inch to fit my 4 55watt lamps?
