hi,
i am buying lighting for my 29 gallon that is 30" across. there is a drastic price increase when you go from 24" lighting to 30" lighitng. my question is,
since the watts on the lighing are the same can i get a 24" light to use on my 30" tank? :help: :happyfish

If your tank is 30" across how can you fit a 24" light? It will be too small. Unless your hanging it from the ceiling.

That would not be a good idea IMO. What if the glass breaks from the weight of the fixture? Youll give your fish the shock treatment. Me personally i would go with the 30" light and lose the glass tops.
