i just bought a 30gallon tank that I am going to use as a frag tank. It came with 2 175w 14k MHs. Is this enuff light?...to much? Should I only use one? Place directly on tank or raised?

I would put them 12"-18" above the tank. Do you have a canopy to help keep the light in the tank. With the mh above there will be alot of light excaping.
That's plenty of light for a frag tank. Definitely mount it above the tank like Bulldog suggested otherwise you you will most likely be dealing with heat issues.
