I am wondering if anyone can advise me as to how to arrange my compact lighting system to be the most beneficial to my corals and other inhabitants. I have 2 STRIPS each containing 2 10,000K and 2 actinic blue lights (side by side that extends the length of the tank) as shown below.
Blue Actinic Blue Actinic (1 strip = 130watts)
10 K 10K (1 strip = 130watts)
So I have a total of 4 blue and 4 10Ks.
Should all the blue go on back and 10Ks upfront? Or can I put the two blue lights in the middle and the 2 10Ks on the outside . Or should I put ONLY 1 blue strip in the middle and the 10Ks on the outside. I intend on having the blue lights come on earlier and go off later then the 10Ks. I just don't know the best way to arrange the lights for best results.
