OK big question sorta, i have a power compact light on my 55gal tank. now here is the question. should i replace the 2 white likes with 2 50/50 lights, replace them with 100% blue light or what ever it is and a single white light? or 2 50/50 lights in the power compaq and 1 single white light? It is a reef tank or going to be over time i got a flower pot, sun burst and a bubble coral, and one long ten. anenme. what is the best

For better advise on "what is best for the cORALS" You should post in the REEF section...But as far as the lighting in general,I can answer this,,,You would be better off leaving the white PC's and adding a regular flo bulb for the blue...PC's really don't give off a good blue...Regular flo,,Or VHO is far superior...

I've got a similar setup over my 55.
The PC is a full spetrum (10,000K).
The 2 normal output bulbs are 1 full spectrum and 1 actinic.
I like the combination I have. In the morning and late evening I turn the PC bulb off and it makes for a nice effect.
