Hello all,
Well i have been doing the salt water thing for a little over a year now, and have a new question. I just sold evrything i had including all of my fish, LR, tank, etc. I moved, and am setting up fresh. I have a 55 gallon again and need help with lighting. The lighting that i had on my other tank was purchased with the tank, but wast all that great, so i want something a little better. I would like to have lr, a few corals, maybee an anemome eventually, and some inverts, along with my favorite fish. My question is, will these light be sufficient. They have these exact lights at my lfs and they are cheap.
what do you all think?

IMO, go with halides for lighting. A pair of 175 W pendants would work for pretty much anything you want in the tank. The PC fixture you list is borderline at best for anemones.
For skimmer, what you have listed is ok, but for $50 more you can really upgrade and go with an AquaC Remora and you will never have to look back.
